Have any Sager 5760 owners here tried to install Linux on your machine? I'm thinking of dual booting mine between WinXP and Slackware Linux, but I'm wondering if I will run into any problems especially with the graphics card (I don't think Nvidia currently have a linux driver for the 7900 GTX).

I'm assuming that I compile SMP support into the kernel, since I'm running a dual core CPU.

I am currently awaiting a time slot in my schedule to install linux (likely Suse) on my 5760. I have tossed up the idea of Gentoo or Ubuntu as well.

As for the kernel, yes smp will need to be enabled.
