Finally ready to pull trigger on 8120, with CF 5870, or 480GTX and its still not available.Xoptic discontinued it, PC Torque does not know when or if they will be selling it with Cf, or 480 card. Other reseller still have it listed with 285 SLI. My buddies are pushing me to wait for the X7200, but that has been discussed for seemingly forever, and to me its vaperware.
Does anyone know What is the hold up on the X7200? Or, where the CF cards, 480GTX for the 8120 is? I hope things shake out soon, money is burning hole in pocket. I don't want to end up with an Ipad (LOL)

The X7200 is real. It is not vaporware. It's being held back until September sometime because Clevo pretty much wants it to be King for the next few years.
-
Arggh, September is always bad, start of school (for the kiddies) which means my significant other will try to burn through my lappy money. NOOOOOOO
-
Is this delay coming from Nvidia's end? I see several 400M equipped notebooks (Asus, MSI, Clevo...) being delayed until September.

The delay on the X7200 is because per Sager request that XTU function is a must when the unit was in its design phrase, Clevo has been working very hard to include the function in its design. However we have just been informed that there is still a very long list of hard to resolved bugs both related and unrelated the XTU function. The current rough ETA Clevo has provided to Sager as to when the issues may be solved is sometime in September’2010.

I've been reading up on the a review of the X7200. The reviews in German machines called XMG U700. Found review while reading through X7200 owners lounge. It sounds pretty good, I might just change my mind
By the way what is the XTU function mentioned by Hutsady? What is it supposed to do? -

XTU is Intel's Extreme Tuning Utility. More Info Here They are experiencing some bugs with this feature.

Thanks for the info Justin. It looks like a great tool for those that like to tinker with their pc. I hope there is an undo button, because I'm one of those guys.
I'm also the guy that tends to push the button that sets off all the alarms, and starts the count down for the self destruct.

They should just release it first, and do a bios update for the XTU later on, it's not really that important of a feature IMO, if you already got an extreme 980X CPU in there, you really don't need to OC it further...
Little frustrated
