This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I have a Logitech Harmony 670 universal remote control and I want to control my laptop with it (volume, Play, pause, etc in VLC). I tried adding the device to the remote, but the laptop doesnt respond at all. I installed the IR drivers (ITE) but it was no help. Anyone know how to make this work (in Linux or Windows)?
