I was in your position on Monday, the laptop came in and I was stuck at school/work until late

 

Its is mistype, its 1202. At work still but I will take plenty of pictures and post them. I told the wife, take a picture of the box to keep me going till I get home. She's like you never ask pictures of me LoL.

Awesome. I'm having a blast in Prototype 2. Finally got it to work and managed to get the mouse to work. My recommendation is to force Vsync in the Intel iGPU, that will guarantee vSync in all games.

Also if you want to OC, at least for me, you have to install the default drivers at least once. You can uninstall it and install another driver if you want. Dunno why, but I found if I didn't and in AfterBurner, with ULPS disabled etc, just wouldn't unlock until I installed the default first.

What game are you looking forward to most? What are the games that caused you to get the notebook?

For me, I wanted to see Witcher 2 with everything maxed except for ubersampling, the 95% screen and the extended battery life. And for Borderlands 2 upcoming.

 

Tera, Gw2, Borderlands 2 and Battlefield 3. Firefall has also gotten some of my attention. To be honest with you, I have a very nice desktop system but I travel a lot sometimes for my job and get bored at the hotel. Here's my desktop playing Tera;

Phase 4! Mine will arrive home next week, and I will arrive home a few short days after. I so can't wait. I know you didn't ask me, but I'm a huge fan of the mass effect games and my old system could BARELY handle ME2 on lowest settings (including resolution). So I'm looking forward to playing those, as well as the witcher games, the Batman Arkham games, and.. well... I bought like 30 games during the Steam summer sale, of which I can only play Limbo and Super Meatboy on my current laptop (and super meatboy runs pretty bad). New sig with my specs in it!

OP, definitely post some unboxing pics if you don't mind. Me, I'll probably run some tests once everything is set up, but I think during the unboxing I will be much too much in frenzy mode to stop and take pictures along the way. It's a bummer I'm going to have to wait a little bit to get my Sony HMZ-T1 working... with nvidia's forums and sales section down, I can't buy 3DTV Play!

Hmm dont have a ruler but have a double AA battery. Here is a picture, its downloading Tera as we speak. Hopefully it gives you a good gauge how thick it is.

It's already past 7 and I've been looking out for the UPS truck for hours. The status never changed to Out for delivery either. So does that mean that even though it arrived at the local hub at 2am and is scheduled for delivery today, they just left it sitting there? A couple kilometers away from me???

In that case, that's complete BS, because to my luck, Monday is a holiday and I just can't wait till Tuesday. I was counting this day down for a week

 

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. It arrived 5 minutes later, sorry folks, but I'm freaking out like a little kid opening his christmas present

 

I just measured with calipers and about 50mm thickest point with lid closed to bottom of rubber feet, otherwise about 44-45mm thickest point not taking into account rubber feet.
