I recently upgraded my M570RU to the .08 bios, and since then I have been experiencing stuttering issues in World of Warcraft. The game runs smoothly at 60 FPS but will occasionally stutter and become choppy for a few seconds. This occurs most noticeably in outdoor zones where there is a large draw distance, but occurs elsewhere as well. I know this is not an internet latency issue as my lag is in the 50-100ms range.
I've tried fixing this in every possible way I know of, and I'm pretty sure it's the new bios that's causing the issue. I've tried re-formatting and using a fresh install of windows with all factory drivers, and that did not work.
This problem seems somewhat similar to the 8800M GTX down clocking issue, although I'm running an 8700M GT, so I tried using nTune and CPU-Z to make sure my clock speeds were at max at all times, and they were, and the stuttering was still occurring. My temps were good as well.
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of an older M570RU bios? I think it was version .02 I was running originally, so preferably that version.
BTW it's a Pro-Star branded M570RU with a T7700 and an 8700M GT running XP SP3.
