Hi I was just interested in whether or not anybody else has this laptop and would recommend this to me as I am in dire need of a new gaming laptop.
I was looking to get this type of configuration for my Sager. I was wondering how performance would fair with this laptop and how overheating is with it as overheating has been a big issue in the past for me. T. My budget is around 1400 and this adds up to about $1318 I was also debating on whether or not I should get the operating system redline boost? Does anybody have any info on that? and is there a major difference between the GTX 860M and 870M? I'm a gamer that's more for performance rather than graphics also.
Thanks all and here's the config.

You did not specify what games you are wanting to play, but if gaming is your main purpose with this system I would get the 870M. It has more cores and larger memory bus. Here are a couple of 860M vs 870M comparison articles. Perhaps they will help with your decision.

The 870m is about 30% faster than the 860m but requires quite a bit more power and cooling to do it.

probably the main game I've been looking to play right now is Arma 3 and other games which will include large scale battles and I want my laptop to be able to handle those kind of battles. would you recommend me grabbing the 880M then? I'm not sure how cooling would work with my laptop as I want my laptop to keep as cool as possible and I was looking to get everything that would cool it as much as possible including an external fan for it.

You can do the OC'ing yourself when you receive the laptop, thus cutting back on transit time, but if you don't feel comfortable doing it and you stick with the 860M, it will help your gaming performance to opt for your reseller to do it.

The NP8268 will get you better cooling and you can get the 870M. Its going to run you a little over your goal budget though. It depends on how flexible you are with that.

On the other hand I'm not really a gamer and need a machine for design and development work which can expand both memory and storage which this model is a good fit.
