    Hello,

I have whatever the Sager is of the D901C. I purchased at Xoticpc with a 3 year warranty. It appears that the hinge on the left side is a little lose (loosely attached to the rest of the frame). It has developed enough play that the little plastic arch thing has broken lose and if I look at the edge of the lcd when I open or shut the lid, I can see it splitting apart a little. Does anyone have any experience with this? The guys as Xoticpc are telling me that this will be considered physical damage and will not be covered. It seems likely that it wouldn't be that difficult of a repair. I'm hoping it might just be a screw in need of tightening. I don't really care about the little plastic arch, I just don't want the problem to get worse.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

    Matt

Have a look at the service manual in my sig, it should help you see what can be done about this.
