Hello, I have no clue why this is happening. I get AVG 45+ FPS in BF3, nvr gone below 30 fps either. But when it comes to CS:GO, I get drops down to 19 fps... The game isn't nearly as graphic demanding compared to BF3. Could it be my CPU? I wouldn't think so since it's still a freaking powerful chip! Any answers?

    SPECS (nothing is OC'd):
    CPU: Intel i7 3610
    GPU: 7970m
    RAM: 12 GB 1333
    OS: Windows 7 Home Edition

I assume you've gone into CCC and set it to "High Performance"?

I'm a bit worried because I'm waiting for this game and if this is a real problem and we don't have real drivers to address these issues by the time the game comes out, I'll be very pissed.

Yup, it's set to high performance. I've posted on the STEAM forums and people are saying it isn't my computer, it's the fact that CS:GO is still in beta and they haven't even worried about speed and optimizations throughout the game. So, when it comes close to release time it should be up around 100+fps in CS:GO... But apparently someone said they have the Alienware M17x R4 with the same specs as me and he's already getting 100+fps... Dunno if he's running on high settings though. But, all we can do is wait i guess....

Make sure you have the right Exe listed. It sounds like the 7970 is not kicking in at all, 19 fps is what the Intel one should get on CS:GO.

Since it was a similar AW, they might have the Intel disabled (most likely) and the 7970 is kicking in.

Try digging through the files to look for another exe file, maybe there is a different one running. Hopefully it will give you some luck.

CS:GO isn't optimized, it's still in closed beta... it has a lot of problems :)

Whew! I hope it's the game being in beta and I'm hoping it's fixed when it comes out. I also hope Clevo get their sh*t right and give us the drivers.
