Hello, I installed an M4000m in my P370EM. Everything works fine but I think the temp of the card is to high. With Unigine Superposition I get a temp of 81 Degrees. Is there anywhere a better Heatsink that I can install or what can I do?

What does your contact pattern of the paste look like on the GPU? (Picture?)
-
Looks good. Everything filled out.

Could you still post a picture? Also of the heatsink in use.

Yes, I can take picture tomorrow

Have you considered liquid metal?
Also have you already undervolted? -

What TIM are you using now?
M4000M is basically a 970M, so I'm not sure what you're shooting for temps wise.
Did you give Firestrike and TimeSpy a run too? -
No, I don’t use Liquid Metal. Undervolting with with Maxwell Bios tweaked?
what is TIM?
No, I only use Superposition now. -

TIM = Thermal Interface Material (Paste, pads, liquid metal etc)

Here are the pics.

Looks like it's struggling to make tight contact, a 0.5mm shim might help.

I’d definitely recommend a whim mod or a paper clip mod if possible to increase tension and pressure. -
The issue is fan control. Stock fan behaviour is to not run full fans until either gpu (in my case) heats up to 93C
Prema's system bios adds a Fn key combo to set max fans which you can use to test whether this is the issue
RLECViewer is the tool that I use to set temperature and speed thresholds between 45 and 60C on my watercooled P370EM where the stock fan curve is completely unsuitable
Prema says it is unreliable and can lose control over the fans leading to overheat, but I have not noticed that. Ymmv -
I used RLECViewer in my old W860cu and had never problems.
On this P370EM I have Prema Bios. Key is for full RPM?
