M570RU more specifically
-
well, I've had mine for 18 months now and I love it, it still eats most peoples desktops for breakfast.
I love its pure raw power for such a portable system (in comparison to the d900 series)
My only wish would be for it to support quads, but as that's never going to happen, I'll just live with my 3.2GHz dual. -
Power, portability, overclocking, cooling, build quality. Battery life isn't too bad either, but the speakers kinda suck.

I have the m570tu, i love the screen that came in mine i have the 1680x1050.

17" 1680x1050 ?
Very nice - who shipped them with those screens? My Asus G1s has that native res and I love it.. Seems like it was forgotten about by most manufacturers. :-( -
Great cooling, extreme model CPU, high end GPU, the option to overclock at least a little, lots of ports.
Hate the speakers. -
Relatively cheap for a powerful system (from Xotic PC), very good cooling system (although slightly loud but was adjusted & fixed in the newer models I assume), good build quality, easy-to-open bottom cover, like the 1680x1050 screen on mine (which is perfect for running games imo), CPU and GPU can be upgraded easily and can also be cleaned easily etc etc...

The system is great ! Its a very nice 17" laptop . Its not too heavy , looks elegant . 1680*1050 + 8800gtx are perfect for gaming . Basically it has all you need , except for the speakers .

I got the M570ETU, 1920x1200, black back with silver trim. Best notebook I ever had, screen is gorgeous. I got it so I could have a powerful computer but also be portable for school, but now my housing situation has changed and its actually for sale now, cus I'm considering a desktop. But it maxes out almost any game which is what I like best. The only downside is sub-par speaker systems. Doesn't really matter tho cus I have externals, but when I tested them they weren't that good, and the sub-woofer is week. However I'm spoiled from my old hp notebook, that had great built in speakers. Everything else is great tho. Very calm design for a gaming computer, and I thought the keyboard was pretty comfortable and I like the number pad. Blue ray drive is also really great for BR movies + 1920x1200 screen.

Not for the M570 RU, or for that fact, for the M570TU. Only the M570ETU supports quads.
-
This was my very first "made to order" laptop. I was just excited to have a cool machine with the components I wanted and no bloat ware. I love the full size keyboard. I also like how plain/uncluttered the design is. Speakers suck though.
-
wow everyone is bashing the speakers lol. i better buy an external speakers if i get NP5797
-
Just get headphones

The speakers spank most of the maintream non-multimedia laptop speakers on the market. But they are still crummy compared to a pair of headphones or basic desktop speakers.

The look on anyone's face when I pull this beautiful big girl out of her ugly bag (the basic one that came with the laptop). I was at a friend's place, had left my Infinite in the car, so as a laptop stand, I pulled out his flatmate's 14" HP and put my m570 on top
