Hi, awhile back the back light on my lcd died and so ive started using a monitor i had laying around. as soon as i started up the computer i notice random flashing lines on the screen, thinking it was the display i hooked it up to our hd tv, and still had the same problem. so i unplugged the power cord and started to shut the pc down when i noticed the lines were gone, it seems they only appear when the machine is plugged in. i turned the computer over and wow.. the plastic around the power input was melted! i don't know if its the cord or the jack but i would like to fix this problem. any ideas ????
