My GPU keeps downclocking even at stock settings from 500/1250/800 to 250/550/300. THis happends after around 10-15 min gameplay and the GPU does not get any hot. I use the newest bios, but am not sure about Vbios or how to update it.

I tried 3 different drivers and they all give me the same result. I also tried disabling powermizer with powermizer switch, but that did not help. I am on the verge of selling this laptop, as i cant even play CS source on it. Is there anyone that have any idea how to keep my laptop from downclocking?

One thing you could try is a vbios mod to change the throttle clocks to 500/1250/800.

I can do it for you if you upload your vbios.

GPUz will tell you the vBIOS version.

I'm not sure where you can get a newer vbios, maybe someone will have to upload it for you if they have it.

I got it running now with no downclocks, but i have to run it at 550/1450/900 which is kinda low, but better than downclocking :)

you need nibitor and nv flash that's compiled for your vbios.. e.g newest version.

dump the bios into nibitor. change the clocks.. make sure everything is good2go.. e.g vendor codes.. etc.. and then save to flash drive... make flash drive bootable.. then put nvflash on it. boot to dos and flash.
