I have had a small problem with my M570RU ever since I have purchased and it is really starting to annoy me now. Almost every time the laptop goes to sleep, when I try and "wake it up" again, the screen doesn't come back on although as far as I can see everything else does. The only way i can get it to come back on is to hold the power button down and restart it.

Not sure whether the specs will make a difference... :

    Clevo M570RU-U
    Intel T5550 1.8gHz
    2GB RAM
    160GB HDD
    8800M GTX Graphics

TMM is enabled in vista (if thats the OS you have)

    edit:
    go to
control panel > administrator tools > task scheduler > task scheduler library (on the left side of the screen, click to expand) > microsoft> windows > mobilePC > disable TMM

I had the same problem, ever since I've been using my HDTV as a DVI monitor. I figured out that hitting CTRL+ALT+DEL, will bring the screen back into vista's menu. From there you can just hit ESC and be back at your desktop.

Have not tried deedeeman's fix, but I will now!
