    Hi guys,

I have searched and searched and searched but can't find a definitive answer.

Is it possible to throw in the q9100 or q9000 into my M570RU? I have a t9300 and honestly feel the CPU is bottlenecking with games like BC2 coming out...

Would love to know if this is possible.

As SS has said, the M570RU tops out at the x9000, no quads available.

Same socket =! compatibility. The C2Q's will not work because of various hardware limitations and a BIOS limitation.

The X9000 is 300MHz faster at factory clocks compared to the T9300, a 12% increase in performance. The M570RU can overclock the X9000 by up to four bins for a clock speed of 3.2GHz, a 28% difference in performance.

where do u guys think a maxed out m571ru-u is in the ranks of todays gaming single gpus laptops.I am feeling it start to lag in performance of todays games.Plus the ever growing 8800m fail rates is a bit of a worry as the price of a replacement is almost the same as its value of the whole laptop.
I also scan these forums hoping to find a deffinate thread that confims that we can upgrade our gpu to the 9800m gtx and above, and cpu.Are these cofigs now midrange laptops(shudder).......time to buy again?
