So i got this nice from a fellow Fourm visitor, and i want to dial in a decent overclock on it......i was running a T75o0@ 2.6ghz with no issues at all. i figured i could get 30% out of this easy since its a cooler running cpu. so i used Set fsb and shoot for the stars 3.3ghz....its running..ok so i run orthos, and i wont run for 10 seconds....down to 3.1 runs for 30 mins no prob. gets a little hotter than i want so i want to undervolt it whats the best way to accomplish this? i try using Rm clock and i get BSOD even lowering it to 1.225v

just noticed cpu-z shows im running a 13.5 multipier???? is this even possible isnt the max 12.5 on this cpu????

The highest I could run with setfsb was 2.8ghz, but it was not stable during gaming, so I went down to 2.7. It didn't really improve framerates so I don't run it overclocked anyways. That 13.5 multiplier is very strange, I have no idea what is going on there.

Try using everest CPUID as that 13.5 multi is strange.

When using SetFSB you are overclocking the whole system as all of the system buses run from the same clock generator, hence less stability when overclocking than a desktop with locked buses/dividers.
