Nothing for sale on Ebay right now.
The non standard Asus cards are very strangely shaped:

NOT compatible.
There is however a card from the w90v which seems like a normal card. It could be compatible.
The pinout is reversed on the cards above, that is how most Asus cards are, in general they are only compatible with the Asus laptop they were made for.
The notch needs to be on the right side, not the left.
Good luck. -
Hiya,
Niff is right the Asus boards are exclusive and cant be interchanged as they have used non standard PCB's
Sorry Mate -
The Nvidia 3700m is compatible and is about the same performance as the 280m:

If you look at the Asus PCB its a totally different shape -

No, its a case of total incompatibility with the Asus cards.
The 3700m shown is a Lenovo card. AKA Nvidias picture of the 3700m.
These were built on the p612 board, if thats what you mean. They have the yellow caps. The board is almost identical to all 9800m GT, 8800m GTX, g92 and g94 based cards etc except the large square gray VRM on the right is moved a little closer to the center. This does make it not fit quite as well with the m570ru heatsink in particular.
However... That seller probably doesn't have Lenovo cardsThey just used Nvidias picture. MOST of the 3700m use the same p398 board as all the other g92 based standard MXM cards because they were HP.
So it should fit perfectly. -
