I have this laptop which has been working without any problems since I bought it. Today when trying to turn it on, only the front panel CD track display / clock display will turn on.

As soon as the battery is in place, the front lights all turn on and the CD drive has power, but the computer itself wont boot up. Any suggestions?

pic of laptop. this is how it looks if the battery is in, without pushing any buttons.
