    Hi mates,
im thinking about buying an ssd for my m570tu but first i'd like to know if anyone here has expirence with an ssd in an m570tu?

is the controller fast enought for 200Mb/sec reading speeds. or does the maindboard controller slow down the ssd's?

would be great to post your benchmarks here too if you have some.

i thought about this one http://www.hoh.de/Hardware/Festplat...tra-DrivecME-256GB-25-SATA-II_i8363_93957.htm

AFAIK, the M570TU has SATA 3.0Gbps (correct me if I'm wrong) so it should be okay with SSDs.

i have an ocz vertex, it pushes easily 270Mb/s reads and ~200Mb/s writes (though it's on my m860tu, but i assume performance should be similar). If it's similarly the ICH9R intel controller you're golden.

Nice...do you notice any performance increase in games and the likes?
