I don't know if any of you can help, but I recently purchased a M762TU and did the bios update from Clevo's site. I did the 1.0.1.15 bios update first (ran step1.bat, rebooted, step2.bat).

When I booted back into my desktop (Vista x64). The FN-F12 does not turn on the bluetooth. It worked in the shipped level (1.0.1.14). I initially wanted to do the bios update for cpu support and 4GB Turbo Memory Support.

Since then, I updated to the 1.0.1.16 update of the bios posted on Clevo's site and still no bluetooth. It appears that the hotkey mapping has either changed or disappeared. The rest of the hotkeys work, just not the FN F12 for bluetooth.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

hmmm... I think the KBC firmware might need to be re-flashed.

I recommend to contact your vendor first to double check if that is the issue.

Please excuse my ignorance, what is the KBC firmware? The download only had EC Firmware and Bios update.

    Thanks for the quick reply

    KBC = Keyboard Controller

the keyboard firmware is what controls the FN keys.

Thanks, was not sure. I am trying to decide if I should just wait until Monday and contact Pro-Star Support on this. I did send an email to clevo's US support site. I am a bit concerned with re-running the KDB/EC firmware since I updated the bios to the next version.

I will post what I find out or come up with.

    Thanks for your help

I decided to take a chance and downgraded the KBC/EC to the prior level 1.0.09 and leaving my bios at 1.1.16.

Results: Hotkey FN-F12 works again for Bluetooth.

Since I don't have my 4GB Turbo Memory card yet, I guess that I don't need to rev to the latest level of KBC/EC.

    Details of Bios Update
    1. System BIOS 1.01.15 and EC firmware 1.00.13.
    2. Support 4GB Turbo Memory module.
    3. Solve "sometimes the system can't enter suspend mode by pressing Fn+F4" issue.
    4. Solve "HDMI transfers to DVI will cause no screen problem" issue.
    5. Run step1.bat to update EC firmware, run step2.bat to update system BIOS.

I will just need to keep an eye on Clevo's site for the next rev of KBC/EC

If Clevo or Pro-Star Responds, I will post that info
