    M860TU - 8GB Kit help

    Hi,

    I'm in the market for an 8GB kit for my M860TU... however I can only seem to find these kits on the US/Canada.

    I don't know which shops are good over there, so if anyone can recommend a good site online that does international delivery on these I'd be chuffed (pleased ;) )

    Actually I should probably ask this before I get the memory... I intend to run Server 2008 on my M860TU and need the extra RAM for Hyper-V, normally Hyper-V requires Intel-VT instruction set on the cpu (which my P8600 has) and sometime an option in the bios for the chipset to accomodate it. Does the M860TU support any virtualisation options in the bios?

    M860TU supports VT, as long as you have a recent BIOS (which you can flash if not)

    Re the ram, are you in the UK, or somewhere entirely different?

    Cool, good to know about bios, do you know which one I need or should I just go for the latest?

    I'm actually in Australia at the moment, but still have an account and ability to buy from the UK.

    KBC/EC 1.00.10
    BIOS 1.01.13

    MAKE SURE YOU FLASH THE KBC/EC FIRST
