I have a re-branded by local company M860TU, there is no info about 3.5G module in my laptop, but i have SUCCESSFULLY installed 3.5G Module driver! I got Sierra Wireless AirCard HSDPA modem in my Winodws Device Manager. But Fn + - doesn't seems to work. So does anybody knows how to check existence of 3.5G module without disassembling my laptop?
P.S. I've got a USIM slot in laptop

All you need to do is take off the backplate, 7 screws, and you will see if there is a 3.5G card.

if it was not ordered with one then it wont be there. not many people ordered that option as it was so expensive to run. think it was roughly £100 for the set up and £125 for the connection but that was when the m860tu was released so might be cheaper now.

What are you talking about? Who says you lose your warranty? It is a MUST to open the backplate to clean it for dust a couple of times a year. It`s called maintenance.

You wont lose your warranty, nor is there any way for your vendor to se if you open the backplate.

I will lose my warranty even if i'll lose a laptop box! That's the stupid politicts of "vendor" :(

Oh, that's easy to see by scratches on the bolts

If they said so, then it pretty much sucks...

If you configured the laptop, you should know if there is a 3.5G card in it, because it is pretty expensive like MrDJ said. Otherwise, ask your seller.

which vendor did you buy it from?
as its a high end laptop then you have to clean the fans and vents out at least twice a year and theres no resellers that i know of that will invalidate you warranty because youve cleaned the fans.
clevos are built in a way that you can change the hard drive and ram yourself so if their policy says it will invalidate your warranty they should be named and shamed.

Your vendor sucks, wow, a lot. What a waste, that notebook is awesome, specially for it's easy-access components. Is there any sticker, anyway? if there is none, then I don't see how can they see if you opened the laptop or not.

Don't worry about scratches, the re-brander must had done that before (removing the screws), because Clevo ships to him without CPU RAM HDD. So if there will be scratches by screwing, it should be already there. Unless the re-brander put some wax on the top of the screws or cover them by small easy-to-break stickers.
