Well I'm taking a wild guess and assume that the issue I'm facing is motherboard related but was wondering if someone could confirm it.
When I turn my laptop on there are no sounds, fan doesn't start on it's own (though I can start it manually but it goes off again after a few seconds), normal power lights are on etc but there is no image on the screen (not even a faint one) and there are no system sounds. Pretty much ruled out it being the inverter related early on. I then proceeded to remove components and test how the laptop started to see if it made any difference after removing each one individually (including testing each slot of Ram). The only difference made is when turning it on without a hard drive and there is a single beep noise that lasts about 2 seconds (though not sure what that means).
I was already planning to upgrade before the issue occurred so I had a few replacement components at hand to test with. I have replaced the processor & hard drive but still end up with the same problem. I even reset the CMOS as I heard that sometimes can resolve an issue like this but again still the same problem.
Thing that annoys me though is that I took my laptop to 2 unrelated repair companies and both said that I needed a new graphics card and that they were unable to procure one (fair enough MXM 2.1 cards are quite hard to come by). Because both were saying the same thing they had me convinced that if I replace the graphics card I would fix the issue. I then purchased one, which I got on here and have proof that the card itself is fully functional etc but it didn't make a difference either.
So I'm guessing that the only other possible culprit left is the motherboard?

have you tried contacting Adrian who is the man who built your lappy. he would be the best person to message as sending to other repairers who most prob have never heard of a clevo would be a waste of time.
