Hey guys. Anyone know if the Clevo M860TU can run the Quadro 3600 or 3700 cards? I'm sure this will produce excess heat similar to trying to run a 280m, but is it possible? I'm thinking of picking up the quadro 2700 on ebay because I run a lot of OpenGL/CAd programs, but if I could use the better cards why not give it a shot. I've heard Quadros don't run as hot as Geforce cards as well. Any thoughts?

From personal experience the Quadro M 2700 does run cooler than the 260M GTX in the M860TU.
The Quadro M 3700 runs at 75W only 10 more than the Quadro M 2700.
I believe a fellow member kaltmond has one installed in his M860TU he would know much more about temps and performance.
    But yes it will work.

Kaltmond. Can you give any info on temps, performance or installation issues? Which model number are you using? Where did you buy?

Thank you for the info IKAS.

Anyone else have any success running a Quadro 3700m on the M860TU?
