    Hi,

the fan of my notebook just began to rattle and sometimes it's pretty damn loud :(

So my question is. Does anyone had this problem or does anyone know where I can buy a new fan?

    Thank you in advance.

someone else had problems a few weeks ago. contact your supplier if its still in warranty or for advice where to get one.
what part of the world are you as then people can give advice on other suppliers.

My warranty is already over so that's why I want to fix it myself. I live in Holland.

Try contacting Denned in NL. They might be able to get a fan home for you.

What is the specifics on the fan?
Is the fan just simply dirty, clogged with dust?
    or
    Is a bearing missing?

Clevo uses low end SamLam Tech co fans in 90% of there laptops. They are impossible to buy outside of SamLam, with exception to ebay. The fans are usually between $30-60. They are grossly overpriced for the fans used.

    Thank you for your replies.

Today I took out the fan and cleaned them. The rattling is gone. But there is still a light buzzing noise.

The fan that I have is a Forcecon DFS531105MC0T.

I couldn't find the fan anywhere online. So my question is are there maybe other model that I can use/buy?

    Thank you.

They are not the same. I bought the dell fan. It was not even close to the original in my M860TU. In the end, I bought a replacement fan from Power Notebooks (my original laptop dealer). Hope that helps clear up the confusion.
