    Hi,

Just got my M860TU and I'm having a nightmare getting any Nvidia drivers to install, when I try I typically get the message Can't find any drivers for your hardware type...

    I've got a 9800GTS btw

    Cheers

congrats and welcome to the club.
what spec have you got and where did you buy your beast.

did you buy it bare bone or are you just doing a re install. as youve just got it it should have the latest drivers already loaded.

Have you tried installing Nvidia's 179.28 directly from the source yet?

My spec is faiirly low compared to most...

    P8600, 2GB, 250GB, 9800mGTS

I finally got the graphics drivers installed, but I had to use the ones of the sager website, but even then I had to extract them then point the use device manager to update the driver and point it to the location of the extracted files.
I'd tried the ones directly from the Nvidia site too, but no go.

I got the laptop 2nd hand and the guy I got it off didn't send the driver CD, so I've been trying to download all the drivers. My current bug bear is now the audio drivers, they seem to have gone on but not completely (see pic)

I also have no idea what Base system device is?
