Wasn't sure if this was posted already. Didn't find it in a search but that is the shipping date marked on eurocom's website for the M860TU.

    Here's the Link: http://www.eurocom.com/products/future/index.htm

I can't wait. It also says it has support for 9xxxM GTX model. Not sure what we can expect yet as far as how that will be implimented but it would be nice if it was just a bios update... too good to be true?

    Here, take this: MortonSalt.jpg

and apply liberally to that shipping date.

lol, the picture is too small for me to see what it is but im assuming its some kind of joke telling me that it won't happen by then. You're probably most definitely right shyster, but it can't be too far off can it?

Sorry 'bout that - supposed to be a tin of Morton's Salt.

It'll be within the year, probably before July, and maybe, if we're lucky, before May 31st.

Shipping Date: May 1, 2008 = Starting to take pre-orders.
Eurocom ****ed up so people can hope they will have it then. Montevina will not come earlier because some company has an earlier shipping date.

Hey, the quicker they can get those pre-orders in, the sooner they can start earning interest on the pre-order payment money sitting in their bank account.

And remember to also buy glasses, WUXGA on a 15 inch screen is like having eagle eyes

Heh my current rig is a WUXGA 15.4, everyone thinks I'm crazy. It's going to look HUGE on my new 17".

No it won`t. The difference is marginal between 15.4 and 17` ,since we`re talking bigger diagonals.
Anyway, I can`t use stock WUXGA, I always increase DPi. At 135% at the moment :D
    And my sight is A+.

They don't seem to give you much choice...

"WUXGA 1920-by-1200 or WXGA 1280x800 with Glossy Surface"

Where does it say that? Eurocom? I don't believe them. They are the only ones I saw offering a WXGA+ screen on the M57xRU-U.

The WSXGA+ will probably be available too, since you see that screen on many 15 inchers.
Althoug WSXGA+ on a 15` is just as bad as WUXGA on 17` in case you don`t have very good eyesight.
And I doubt Eurocom will ship anything at may 1st except maybe apologize emails for delays :D

ive talked to the Eurocom sales department about the may 1st date...
they say they will have the notebooks by may 1st, and will be ready to ship them a week after that.
    no pre-order bull****....

That's all pre-order bull...if you think otherwise, you haven't been around long enough. Eurocom is notorious for posting ridiculous availability dates. If Donald or Justin don't post it, it isn't happening....and if the ODM is compal, add another 3 months to what Donald and Justin say ;)

I am aware of that--while deadly accurate on Clevo model ship dates, that was a playful tease at Donald and Justin for the compal ifl90/sager 2090 shipping fiasco that was beyond their control

Well, you can expect a shipping fiasco on this model also. Not anytime before June will anyone see theirs...
Now I am really curios if this thing will manage to live up to the hype and bury the m15x.

ASIA, then to Sager in the US or Eurocom in Canada for RE-Branding.
