I probably should have made this thread before buying the replacement keyboard. I bought a replacement keyboard for my m860tu that i bought like 2 years ago because to fn key fell off and the keyboards malfunctioning. I was wondering how to connect it to my laptop I cant seem to find anything anywhere about it and there is nothing under the user manual.

It's a friction lock. Push the edges of the brown lock upwards to release the cable.
