Intel Management Engine Interface Driver for Windows VISTA 32/64 BIT & XP
    what does this do?
    do i need it?

Intel Robson Technology Driver for Windows VISTA 32 BIT / 64 BIT (Support Intel TurboMemory Dashboard with -UP command)
im not getting any turbo memory so i dont need this right?

VISTA 32/64BIT Matrix Driver fro Windows VISTA 32/64 BIT
    what does this do?
    do i need it?

Chipset Drivers for Windows VISTA 32/64 BIT and Windows XP version 8.7.0.1007
is this the latest/best chipset driver for the m860tu?

if anyone wants to have a look here is the full list of drivers at the sager site:
    http://74.212.252.103/pages/notebooks/download.cfm?ProductType=8660

    thanks for you help

p.s im getting all the drivers for the sager website, does anyone recommend another place to download the drivers for a better/more up to date driver. i know there is the clevo site but the sager drivers seem to be more updated.

    > Never heard about it
    > You don't need it since you don't have Turbo Memory
    > Manages your hard drive. Important to update it to latest version on Intel website to keep hard drive cool
    > This drivers seems to be OK, never found a new one.

You shouldn't worry about drivers because they are already installed if the OS is already installed. If not, the laptop comes with a CD with all the drivers you need. The DVD has an autorun with an installation order to follow. If you want, here's the DVD image: http://files.filefront.com/M860TU+Driversiso/;13235370;/fileinfo.html.

In my case, the Intel Management Engine Interface did not work, it says not compatible with my laptop. I guess its not for the M860TU since the download section where you can see that says its for M860xU I think.

I would ignore sager/clevo's driver download site - usually manufacturer sites lag behind on drivers or don't update them, etc, except for chipset drivers and BIOS updates. You should grab, from the companies that make the hardware/drivers:

    - latest Realtek HD Audio drivers (realtek's site)
    - latest nVidia notebook drivers (nvidia's site, best atm, imo)
    - latest Intel Matrix Storage Manager (sata controller drivers, some important fixes lately

And ignore the rest and/or even uninstall it if you dont need the hardware/drivers (fingerprint, bluetooth, etc).

I assume your M860TU will come with an updated BIOS - you might want to call your reseller and ask if it does and/or ask that it do so, as it's a bit tricky to update the BIOS yourself and you might as well get the people who are responsible for the notebook to do it for you.
