    Hey all,

I ordered my M860tu (XXod) last saturday and also ordered some Artic Silver.
Has anyone allready put Artic Silver in the M860tu? Can I put it on just the CPU? Or also the GPU? or even more spots? Thanks

If it was on the config page of the laptop, its already applied.

How can I be sure it's allready applied on my XXodd system?
It's nowhere mentioned on the XXodd website.

Since I allready ordered the goods, I'd like to put it on anyways.
Can you give me some pointers?

Just called with XXodd and they confirmed they do NOT use Artic Silver.

If you remove the heatsink, its obvious you will see some thermal paste. I'm no specialist so I can't tell the difference but in both case (ie, if there is AS5 or ordinary paste), you'll be stuck cleaning it and applying it again if you remove the heatsink, for both CPU and GPU.
