    Hey guys,

Got my M860tu recently and have a few questions about the webcam after playing around with it for a bit.

-Is there any way to tell what type of webcam you have (1.3mp or 2.0mp?). I ask because the specs when I bought it state 2.0mp but it looks pretty crappy to me :/

If its any help, it says "eyeshot" right next to the cam.

-I'm using BisonCam software, and I'm wondering if its possible to set to output video codec to something else. It seems that the camera is recording in uncompressed AVI, so we're talking 4 gigs for 12 minutes of video.

    Thanks for your time.

Quality have always been poor on this webcam, no matter which resolution you choose.

What a disappointment. I'm sure people would pay more for quality

I was disappointed too. Especially when you compare it to other laptops. It still stays conveniant, just in case you need it ;)
