Hopefully i can get a little help here

I bought a M860tu some while ago with a x9100 cpu and a m9800gts.. My problem is that i have spike lags in fps games and it seems like it's getting worse, the more stuff i put on the harddrive the more spike lags it seems.

Ive been thinking about the CPU throttling screwing around with me also, is there any way to remove it? i never use battery so i dont need it.

I'm probably gonna buy a OCZ SSD Vertex 120gb for my laptop, i guess every M860tu got SATA II?

    Thanks :)

CPU throttling doesn't happen to save power (EIST does that), it does it because the CPU is overheating.
Post a screenshot of HWMonitor after you've been gaming for a while (want to see the max temps you're getting).

Well temps r pretty low 57-58c and yeah i couldnt remember what the program was called.. is it possible to remove that option? i dont need to save power.

Is there anyone with a OCZ vertex in their laptops in here?

Can the m9800gts also be underclocking? is there anyway to turn that option off also?

    1. What temp is your GTS reaching?

    2. Have you tried installing new video drivers?
