    M860tu sudden system freeze problem

    ok now its getting worse atleast once a day my system suddenly freeze and i'm forced to shut it manually and then go through the "Undetected Shutdown Detected"

    so any idea wht might be the problem because force shut down is kinda bad for the system

    so any advise will be appreciated

    make sure to do a CHKDSK after a forced shutdown.

    make sure to run Command Prompt as administrator
    - then type:
    CHKDSK C: /F
    - say yes
    - restart the computer and it should scan for HDD errors.

    ok an update on my freeze problem, i noticed that it usually happens only when i pick up my notebook and try to move it somewhere while its open, and if it gets any shorta bumps or something in the happens it just freeze and i have to reboot it manually all the time

    any idea what might be the problem now

    If it only happens when you jostle it, it will be the hard drive. Do an actual integrity check using a program like HDTune.

    Yeah sounds like the HDD is defective or damaged. Make sure you have backed up your important data, as you may need to get a new HDD.
