Sorry for the repost. I posted in another thread but made a mistake and wrote that i have M860TU but i made a mistake. My laptop is M865TU. I corrected that but i realized that noone read the correction post so answered depending on the wrong model.

So, again, my notebook is M865TU. May i look for MXM 3.0 graphic cards or do i still have to use MXM 2.1?

    Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Best is MXM 2.1 GTX 280M, if you can find one.

True, though that's if you're only using it with an external monitor. So technically yes, but in terms of using it as a mobile laptop, no.

I had forgotten about that development.

OH MY GOD HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO EXPLAIN THIS

THE CARD THAT DOES NOT WORK IS FROM AN MSI GT725 ONLY. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE M860TU. THE M860TU FULLY SUPPORTS ALL ATI MXM 2.1 CARDS. THE ATI 4850 FROM THE GT725 ONLY SUPPORTS THE BUILT IN LCD OF THE GT725.

    Clear enough?????

No need to argue :) MXM 2.1 GTX 280M, so this is my card, impossible to find, even though if i can find one i guess it'll be overpriced. So, i guess i'll change my laptop next year :) With SSD and 8 Gb ram added it works fine for now, but i won't pay ~500$ to buy a new CPU+graphics card. I'll save the money for a new generation laptop. Thanks for helping me anyway.
