    The M865TU has what looks like a grill at the bottom of the lid.
    From what I saw, the grill has the 'Style-Note' logo on it, which lights up in blue.

    no no, the m860tu=8660
    m860etu=m865tu=8662

    its the same
    and technically the "e" was never confirmed
    we (laptop community(as i recall)) gave it the "e" because the m570etu was given that "e" for is motherboard revamp

    A lot of places9ex: XoticPC) refer to the NP8662 as being based of the Clevo M860TU though... So I guess that's the N8662. Chassis wise, it's the exact same thing as the NP8660 with updated parts.

    right the only difference between the m860tu(8660) and the m860etu(8662) is the motherboard modifications in which the chassis is unchanged. Because the m860tu was the precursor, most websites just dont put the "e" in the title but most (i know for sure xoticpc) is really selling you an m860etu. And as far as i am concerned the m865tu is the m860etu.

    theres your answer.

    same notebook, slight difference in aesthetics.

    it was also in the Clevo Guide (deciphering the model number)
