Hey, how well does the HD6990M work on the MALIBAL P150HM? Are there any driver issues or does MALIBAL install some of the drivers?

Hi, we have lots of customers on here with the P150HM/6990M... maybe some of them will chime in. Also, we install the drivers if you purchase the OS from us - otherwise, we can provide you with a link to download the latest drivers for this GPU. :)

Woah, that was the quickest response I've ever gotten from someone!
Yeah, I'm getting a Home Premium Windows 7 with the P150HM. I wanted to get the HD6990M due to it being more powerful than the GTX485m, though I heard that the HD6990M had driver issues and such. I just simply wanted to be sure that when I get my P150HM, that it didn't have driver issues that I would have a difficult time solving. Thank you so much for your response!

Minor driver issues with Rage and BF3, but that was just when the games were first released. I am super pleased with my 6970M in both my Eurocom Racer and my Alienware M18X. The 18X is a single 6970M with stock clocks and I can play anything I want and get excellent frame rates and stunning image quality. THe big screen [Samsung] on the M18X is simply georgeous and provides crystal clear images.

I have a P150HM with the 6990M. Not from Malibal though..
I installed the latest Catalyst drivers from ATI. They performed alot better than the drivers included from Clevo. I don't have any issues so far with it. It's really an amazing graphics card for this little monster :) Running max graphic settings on most games. The 6990M beats the GTX485M and IMO it's also a little better and ALOT cheaper than the 580M that a friend of mine have in his P150HM.
