    MALIBAL Price Protection and Black Friday Deals

    Like other people, I've ordered a MALIBAL laptop recently. When I ordered it, I got their holiday price protection.

    I recently sent in my computer for a screen replacement due to a few stuck/dead pixels, and it is currently still at their repair facility.

    Thing is, I was wondering if I am able to get any of the free upgrades that they are advertising now? The two I am interested in are the 8GB ram upgrade and the screen calibration - because they are now free as a holiday offer, am I able to get them done while it is in for repair?

    Any responses from MALIBAL or other users are appreciated. :eek:

    It's under 30 days, but I've already installed my own W7 and MS Office onto it, as well as it already being with them at their repair center...

    just tell them , I think they will do it. its under 30 days so you should be fine.

    You think they will apply the upgrades? I hope so, because I can't just use up another copy of windows and MS Office.

    I've just sent a ticket in asking them.

    Odd, I haven't gotten any responses from the MALIBAL rep on here, or their ticket service. Then again, it's probably because it's black Friday and they're more busy than usual.

    Probably. I live in Canada, so we had thanksgivings day a while back, hence why I was unsure of why I wasn't getting a response.

    Just an update: I was able to get the upgrades done, it should be shipped back to me on Monday.

    So if you have your own OS installed, or another situation like that, you should be able to get the black Friday deals done if you also got the holiday price protection.

    that is awesome.. I wonder If XoticPC would also do the same. I also ordered recently and now it is on phase 2(building and testing) . I am trying to contact them now but I guess they're on holiday too.

    You apparently only got the deals with the holiday price protection because they already had your machine. They won't offer it to others that ordered with the holiday protection unless they ordered it originally with one of the upgrades being offered. So we should have waited for black friday like we thought.

    I think it was more about me having my own os and office installed, therefore I couldnt return it. If you were in the same situation, all you'd need to do is pay the shipping and you could get the upgrades done.
