    Hi, im posting this becouse my computer crash yesterday 2 times on bfbc2 (P151HM1 with GTX560M) it got to 76c de cpu and gpu 72, i run prime and the occt and the cpu doesnt stay on 2.5 it gets to 2.0 then go then 2.3 but doesnt stay in 2.5.

    i look when im playing and now it doesnt go faster than 2.0 in bfbc2 and with that the computers doesnt crash but i dont know if is normal or just random or its bad

    its only crash when it go more than 75c in cpu

    If you only have the 2630qm, you won't run at full turbo of 2.9 unless single threaded, or 2.5-2.6 unless dual threaded. 2.2 or 2.3 sound about right for a game using 4 cores. What kind of crash are you having? BSoD's? 75C is warm for the CPU though, depending on your notebook model. You can try repasting or raising the rear of the machine to lower temps.

    As said above the 2630 CPU is only 2.0GHz. You see faster sometimes because of turbo boost but it sitting at 2.0 under load is normal.

    As for temp, it should not crash at 75c. Does it crash running the CPU test programs also or just bfbc2? Basically is it easy to reproduce the problem so hopefully we can find out what the issue is or if you have to RMA they can see it right way?

    Computer will turn off if CPU hits 100c but 75c should be about as hot as it goes as I can hit that on my CPU under full load, but you should not crash still, unless you got in 90s and up..

    it just turn off no bsod nothing, and yes only with bfbc2
