So on my new Clevo 650-HS I switched from MSHybrid to Discrete and rebooted so that I can use G-sync.
G-sync now works and it is in Discrete mode.
However when I go into the CCC now it shows that I am in MSHybrid mode (even though I am not) and I am constantly getting an Error message saying "AUX switcher has stopped working".

So because in CCC it shows the box for MSHybrid is selected, i have no way to switch back into MSHybrid.
I am stuck in Discrete mode.

    Anyone else have this issue?

    Is there any fix?

    Thank you.

Also, I noticed when I run HWiNFO the GPU is not detected by it.

I'm am not yet an owner of a Clevo laptop, but from what I've seen on the forum is that there are 2 ways to switch between the iGPU and GPU:
    1. Clevo Control Center
    2. Bios

Have you tried switching via Bios?

It could be faulty reporting on the software's end. Have you tried reinstalling it?
That's right. Under the "Advanced" section, in "Advanced Chipset Control", the option to switch is there.

I'm having the exact same issue. G-sync works but control center states that I am in MSHybrid Mode and therefore, I can't change back.

Use BIOS (F2 to get to it) to switch between MSHybrid and DISCRETE. You can find it in Advanced tab ->Advanced chipset control

There is a bug in CCC 5.0001.1.05 that shows MSHybrid all the time. So don't use CCC for switching. Wait for an update or get CCC 5.000.1.1.13 from P650HP-G drivers.

Well, it's really a HUGE blessing that the option is even available in the BIOS to change it manually to discrete. I'm sure there are people that do not have such an option and would be willing to kill to have this feature available in their BIOS. That's MUCH better than some error-prone software crapola. It might be inconvenient if 5 seconds to flip the switch is too much of a demand, but definitely a more reliable option eliminating a dependency of bloatware.

Hey I am facing the same issue. I can switch via the BIOS but I am having usability problems all over:
    1) Screen flickers whenever I boot into Windows.
    2) Sometimes, on the desktop, screen flickers turns blank for several seconds, and once its back on, I'm get signed out of Windows. Happens on both Discrete and Hybrid mode. Logging back into Windows I get displayed with the "AUX SWITCH HAS STOPPED WORKING" message
    3) When launching games, I get the same message multiple times:

Any one able to resolve this?

@thedummy - Your CPU temps are waaayy too high. You're flirting with sudden shudowns.

Aux Switch is a new one. Did you install the OS yourself, or did your seller?

Yeah, the temps have me worried. This is supposed to be repasted with ICD.

Myself. Used Phoenix's guide and used Obsidian Utility to install drivers. I may have messed that step up though - I am pretty sure I was in discrete mode so Obsidian Utility only installed Nvidia drivers. I had to run it a second time in Hybrid mode to install Intel VGA drivers

If you didn't remove the NVIDIA drivers first, then that might be part of your problem. Whenever you switch, you need to make sure you've completely removed the existing drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller. Once that has completed its task in safe mode, get into the BIOS, make the change, reboot, install the Intel driver, reboot, install NVIDIA, reboot again.

I'm sure the Obsidian utility is great, I just keep seeing little issues pop up with people using it lately; not sure if it's a technical problem with the software, or end-user error. Either way, I second @saturnotaku here. Remove the NVidia driver, reboot, reinstall the Intel driver, then the NVidia driver - and I'd say try it without the Obsidian program this time.

That almost certainly won't fix the high temps, but if it fixes the errors you're seeing, it's a start.

Can you take a picture of the compound application? (You may need to repaste after.)
