    GeForce GTX 680M overclock

Actual picture of the MSI GTX680M 4GB
    [IMG]
    It is a qualification sample.

    Spec
    [IMG]
That 2920XM is Oced to 4GHz with prema's mod bios unlocking the power limit to 80W/90W.

I made the overvolting and overclocking vbios for him.
The default clock in vbios is tweaked from 732MHz/900MHz to 902MHz/1100MHz, while a volt offset of 0.05v is added.

And this is the 3dmark11 benchmark @ 1000MHz/1200MHz after overvolted.

He asked cheaper other than cheap. As clevo one is priced at ¥6000($940).So MSI one is expensive but cheaper.
    他问的是是不是相对便宜,
    我说是,因为蓝天的要卖6000块。

Can you share the modded vbios?
Will it work on the Clevo 680Ms?

Better not flash it to clevo card.

Instead, I can make another mod bios for clevo GTX680M(though it will take a lot of time).

    Agreed.

I'd prefer an MSI card anyway.

Thats normal. You have nothing to worry about. The scores you saw above are either overvolted or overclocked.

and more importantly is it going to be the real deal or a quality sample? because if its the real deal and it can be clocked higher than the gtx 670 desktop, i may have to save some money and buy one haha.

The GPU score in 3DMark11 needs to reach 8000 to get to a GTX670's level tho

I haven't tried a 2630QM before but does it turbo boost all 4 cores when the TDP and the temp are allowed like on the 3610QM?

yes i believe the max turbo on all four is 2.6, 2.8 for 2 cores and 2.9 for single core. and i have excellent cooling so there should be no throttling. 2.0ghz normal clocks btw.

2630QM's turbo mode is probably about a desktop 1st gen i7-920 at non-turbo.

Well it wasn't bricked, seems like some parts were burnt due to bad solder job or something, it's at Clevo right now, should be with me like a week after.
