I mean other than the obvious processor application - where can I put this stuff?
Hard drive???
Memory???
GPU???
Man I just want to lather it on.

between the heat sink and GPU

Try applying on the brushed aluminium as well... try some nice patterns that will look nice!
The rest, open the back and just put it in...
I'm joking... I have no idea! Just thought your post was quite funny...
Oh, and try some on those USB, VGA and HDMI holes... I never liked having open holes... dust can get in! -
CPU, GPU, chipset or anything with a heatsink on it
make sure you completely remove the old paste and use something that will not leave fibers behind -

If you're going to do this make sure you clean the old thermal paste off properly as suggested above. You can use something like kitchen paper but after removing the bulk of the material "dry", use Tim Clean to clean the surfaces properly:
1/ Wipe existing paste off with a dry cloth
2/ Use a little TimClean on a cloth and apply to chip
3/ wait 20-30 seconds and dry off TimClean with cloth
4/ Apply new paste.
Also remember that, though you should only use a small ammount of thermal paste, you need enough to cover the chip properly. People are often surprised about the ammount of factory applied paste on GPU blocks and of course there's a point that sufficient turns to way too much, just be careful that all. The copper heatpipes are quite delicate as well so take extra care in those too - a slight bend can easily stop the Hs making full contact with a CPU or GPU. -
Thanks Neil - will do.

oh by the way - do I need those little paperlike tabs? Would it be ok to just apply to paste as it without a tab or is a tab necessary?
Because There's a tab on the heatsink - it's sort of stuck to the heatsink. I should just take it off right?
