You have the MXM 2.1 slot with a type III card.

You must have the invisible Type 0 card, sotoa.

Yes, yours is also MXM 2.1 type III. All of the 9800M cards and GTX 2x0M cards are MXM 2.1 type III.

I thought they were mxm 2.1 type IV (ie with the extra HE tab) I know my 8800M GTX is type IV

8800M is type III, 7950 GTX is type IV, longer than 88.

I'm sure that the type III doesn't have the extra power connector (HE tab) that squares off the card (as in type III cards have a corner cut out, type IV are square)

    Type III:

    No?

    Edit: Type III pic changed

I remember the difference of III and IV is card length. My 7950 is obviously longer than G92 seires.

So it does, sorry, MXM type III is the same connector as that but higher tdp and slightly longer (same length as 8800M GTX I believe)

    Edit: Picture changed
