My hardware problems have been epic, I purchased a new Nvidea 9800 for my laptop only to have something else go wrong. I live in a small Japanese village so computer repair will not happen unless the computer is Japanese. Anyways...

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/sag...i-remove-my-nvidia-8800mgtx-sager-9262-a.html

So I brought my busted Sager back to Canada with me and had it checked out there. The staff at the computer shop said that the problem is my mainboard. They said they removed the RAM and didnt get an error message, which is how they knew.

WHen I start my computer, nothing happens. The power light is on. Thats it.

I paid about $4000 for the laptop in 2008, and another $800 for the video card (which i thought was the problem).

I need to decide what to do with my notebook. I freakin love it and dont want to give up on it. But at the same time, should I keep pumping more $$ into this thing if its only going to last me a year or so??

Can someone out there more savvy than I tell me a place where I can order a new mainboard that will work for my Sager?

Thanks for the help so far everyone. This forum is 10X better than the computer advice I have been getting from most people Ive consulted.
