My system is
I7 3720qm
16gb ram
128 msata
750 hdd
680m 4gb
It is only 1 year old.
I am getting heat temps at 90, 91c on my gpu while i play arma 3, borderlands tomb raider, bioshock.
I hit 94c on my cpu doing a stress test using intel extreme tuning utility.
I monitored my gpu temps with msi AB.
I used a can of air and cleaned it out, no change in temps. The mythlogic guys put IC Diamond compound on it when i bought it an I bought Arctic Silver 5 to reapply but I am waiting to hear from them first- they have not yet responded to me.
The next thing i want to try is adjusting my fan speeds, but I cant! MSi AB wont let me adjust it and the fan tab is not showing up in settings. SO i downloaded HWinfo64- i searched that this was a solution for the Alienware guys. In HWINFO64 when i hit the sensor tab an scroll down there is no fan button anywhere. I am starting to think that i have no way of adjusting my fan speed.
What should I do with the high temps? I really don't want to lose my computer for a month while i mail t to get fixed.

Your temps are fine.
-
fan tables are locked on your machine. what are idle temps like?
-
I bought a cooler master U2- I have the repaste, but I'll wait to see what mythlogic says, and how the cooler pad works
-
So my CPU stressed hits over 100c, ANC my gpu gets to 95c
Mythlogic said they would send me a shipping box to send it in and have them clean, and repaste!
It's free because of my two year warranty.
Should I send it in? Or should I try and repaste and use my cooling pad for now? Losing my laptop for three weeks doesn't seem fun! And I have 1 more year on my warranty. What would you do? -
And a shop vac can work wonders, but hold the fan blades while vacuuming,
Major problem with heat in my Clevo P150em (Mythlogic Pollux 1612) I can't adjust fan speeds!
