Malibal 6990m in stock and ready to ship?

I want to make sure in case it out of stock or in back order and there would be any delay since I know a lot of people pre-order it.

 

I've understood that there have been thousands of orders for these cards. Not sure when they'll ship - obviously first come, first serve.

 

What is wrong with you, seriously.

Just send him a PM.

Don't create simple question threads that can be just easily solved by reading other people's threads or by sending a personal message.

 

Maybe he did? Perhaps others have, too, already have the answer and might be able to answer the question faster?

It's easier to answer a simple question and let it sink.

 

If this were a question like

"Which reseller has the 6990m and ready to ship?"

I wouldn't have said a thing and helped him out.

If it calls to the community and we share our experiences, it is what the forum threads are for.

But this "thread" is pointless. PM's exist for questions like this, and specific questions for a reseller should go to a reseller directly.

 

This was meant for Malibal to answer or experience from other, they are too busy right now to answer non ordering PM.

While I agree with PM'ing, it isn't the end of the world to start a post.

 

Posting it publicly implies a call to the community. No need to argue or get defensive.

To Cheezy's point, say I had pinged a reseller a couple of times with a request for info, and they don't get back to me. I can post my request publicly. That be more effective than the PM, because folks will see if they respond or not. Resellers want to keep up their reputations, so they're likely to respond publicly.

Not a big deal, though.

 

I'd also like to know if there's a known ETA for their 6990m. I hope I get my laptop before the end of my vacation in 2 weeks. My hopes are low, though.

 

While i can't speak for Malibal, Sager is due to get them in on Friday 8-12. Then allow some build time and they should be shipping next week.

 

All this talking and Malibal hasn't spoken up yet!

Btw Cheesy, One thing I suggest to you, is post one thread with all your questions. I think I saw 3 different threads that you had questions regarding Malibal and it was all within a day or so. It may not be a big deal, but it does flood the first page of this forum and pushes out the other threads other users have posted. Some people would only view the 1st page and so anything on the 2nd page kind of gets lost. Plus it's probably easier Malibal or whoever, to answer all the questions on one thread anyways.

It is kind of like how sometimes people would post 3-4 different threads for 3-4 different items they are selling, which could have been all in one thread instead. Just be courteous to others is all I'm saying.

 

While I cannot speak for everyone, I ordered the P150HM with a 6990M on July 31st...and I was told today that they are hoping to ship it next week after assembly and testing.

 

My order was placed on July 28th and I've seen Malibal state that the laptop will ship by the 15th. Don't know if that's changed at all.

 

I ordered my 170HM from Malibal on 8/13 and no tracking number yet. Hoping it will ship this week!

Might be a little longer jortex. I placed my order on July 28th and my shipping date is scheduled for Monday. Meaning, Malibal has 2 weeks of orders to fill (of Satoris and Lotuses) before they even get to the August 13th orders.

 

Hi jortex, we will start building 6990M orders tomorrow and will start shipping on Monday. However, I don't think it will take another two weeks to get to your order, because we plan on building on the weekends as well - in order to catch up on the 6990M orders.

I would say there is a very good chance your order will ship by the end of next week.

I spoke with Malibal online support about my order placed 8/4 and they said shipping Friday(today)? so I guess that means mid-late next week factoring in 7/28 ships Monday.

 

Wow. If yours is shipping today and not next Friday, that means I would have gotten my laptop sooner if I had ordered it later?

I think he is saying that they just got the 6990M and he thinks his won't ship out until mid next weekend because of the orders before him like 7/28. His post is a bit confusing .

 

Swimmer is correct, Drummer is saying his will ship after yours next week, not today.

Hmm.. I think my order was on the 5th, but Malibal told me my laptop should ship out by week's end. So can I expect the laptop to ship by monday, or will it be delayed? >.<

 

Hi Jerry, we were hoping to start shipping by week's end - but Monday will be the first day we start shipping... we are building the 6990M orders today and over the weekend, so your order will ship out early next week. Thanks for your patience, it won't be too much longer now.

Same here. Put my old 320GB data drive in an external USB 3.0 case and loaded it up with drivers and apps that will be installed onto the Satori. Have my secondary 1TB WD Scorpio Blue ready to install.

 

So, anyone have there tracking number? and do we know if we are getting -203 or -204 heatsink??

Malibal confirmed my laptop was scheduled to be shipped today, and they completed payment however I haven't received a tracking number yet.

 

Ah, they just PM'd me. The P150's are apparently to be shipped by wednesday because they're being fine-tuned for lower temperatures. Your P170 is fine though, since it's cooler by virtue of being bigger.

I guess it'll be soon now.

 

I did not get mine yet either. Hopefully we will get the 204, if it's better. As long as I get mine by Friday and everything is working with it I'll be happy. The wait is killing me lol.

 

Is it correct to assume that if I haven't received a tracking number today that my laptop didn't ship? Just very confused by this process. Can't seem to get any definites, just vagueries "...laptop is scheduled to ship today...", etc.

Orders placed around the 5th should all ship before the end of the week, hopefully all by Wednesday.

Any response on this question Malibal? Just curious if a charged credit card will be an indicator to us that product has shipped?

Hi, to answer the previous questions, we're using the 203 heatsink right now. Also, we usually don't charge a card until the order is ready to ship - however - sometimes we do capture payment in advance - and there is an unexpected delay on the order - so it's not always an indication that the order is about to ship or has shipped.

 

Are the -204 and -203 the better heatsink's?
