    Given Specs:

    Display: 15.6" 1920 x 1080 FHD LED AUO B156HW01 V.4 95% NTSC Matte Display
    Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM, 6MB L3 Cache, 2.2-3.1GHz
    Memory: (16GB) 16384MB, PC3-10660/1333MHz DDR3 - 4 SO-DIMM
    Graphics Card: AMD® Radeon HD 6990M 2GB GDDR5
    Hard Drive: 750GB 7200rpm 2.5" SATA 300
Optical Drive Bay: 8X Multi DVD+/-R/RW RAM Dual-Layer Drive
    Wireless: Intel® 6230 Advanced-N 802.11A/B/G/N LAN and Bluetooth Card
Cooling: IC Diamond 7 Thermal Compound, CPU & GPU
    Keyboard: English: US & Canada
    Power Cord: US & Canada
    Branding: None

Laptop is almost brand new, with monitor still wrapped with factory plastic. No damage, Windows 7, no dead pixels, in top shape. As I said, it's basically new, used probably 10-15 times since purchased new from Malibal. Please suggest a fair price. I am trying to sell it because I have no use for it. I initially planned to use it as a desktop replacement, then I purchased an Ultrabook, and now I'm using the ultrabook way more than the Lotus. I plan to sell this so I can purchase a desktop for about $2K.

I'm selling this just for the purpose of having funds for the desktop. It's just been sitting in its bag for almost an entire year. Now that I actually need a desktop, I figure I'd sell this.

If I sell this at $1500, is this a fair price considering I purchased this for $2000+ ?

    Thanks

id say most probably less than 1k, u should consider a 50% loss in value per year when it comes to computer hardware. for 1.5k u could already get such a machine with IB quad cpu and a 7970m, amounting to approx. 50% more gaming power.

I'm gonna agree with jaybee83 in pricing. Considering you can get a NP9150 brand new with better specs for only a few hundred more then 1k.

Considering some of the barebones around with faster graphics cards I agree also.

It's a machine with plenty of upgrade potential however.

    Thanks for the reply.
In all honesty, what's the highest I can expect for it?

I just hate to wait any longer because I know the price will drop over time. I just need to use the money for a desktop. For the price I bought the laptop with, I could have gotten a desktop with twice or thrice the power.I never really intended NOT to use it but a change in my employer kind of forced me to work "on the go." So for me, it was better to have an Ultrabook and a desktop. Since I bought this, I am on my second ultrabook. I currently have a Lenovo Yoga 13, which is 1/4 (1/5 ?) the power of this Lotus, but enough for me to do some minor office work on the go.

I am planning to build a desktop soon and need the $$$

I appreciate all and future suggestions.

If you can get a cheap 7970M it would improve its performance greatly to that of a desktop 7870 pretty much....
