Folks, hopefully someone can help me out with this as I am starting to go crazy here.....

    1) My Wireless Adapter for the last week is having issues when I startup my computer sometimes I can not switch on the adapter and the device manager does not identify even that there is an adapter present... "no uninstalaled device, nothing under network". Restarting my computer usually resolves this issue.

    2) I was using my wireless when the power went out so the WIFI went down, so i turned off my computer and took a nap. I woke up and turned it on and now the wireless adapter is not being recognized and will not turn on. I have tried multiple system restores with no success. THis issue happened to me once before and some reason booting up in Windows safemode with networking resolved it.

Has anyone had these issues before?

Is my problem likely a hardware issue with my card?

What do you guy think ? I just purchased the laptop from Malibal a month ago.

I'm assuming you turned it on with FN+F10 or at least tried to cycle it with the Wifi on and off (FN+F10)?

One thing I should mention as well is when originally installing drivers on my laptop... i noticed if I did not install the drivers in the correct order the same thing would happen. my Realtek Wireless WAN would not be detected.

Sorry to hear you are having this problem. I have not had any issues with mine, although I went with the 1103. If the Fn+F10 toggle is not working and the card isn't being detected, I would submit a ticket to MALIBAL. You could also try a fresh Windows installation. I'm assuming you've tried reinstalling the appropriate drivers from the disk they included?

I'm having the exact same problem as you. Only seems to happen when the laptop has been powered down completely.

Only fix I found was to keep restarting the laptop until it appeared under device manager, it would have an exclamation mark saying it's not working properly. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, rebooted then used the FN keys to turn it on and it worked again.

I just haven't bothered to contact my seller about it yet as I am contemplating on buying a new card to put it in myself.

How hard is it to do ?? I am having this EXACT same problem... I refuse to reiinstall windows just so this issue can happen again down the road...

I was going to use a mini usb wireless adapter however it really pisses me off that I have to do that....

I'm not sure hey, apparently the place I bought my P170EM from is able to provide instructions on how to replace the network card so I'm waiting for a response from them. Can't seem to find any information about this installation process online...

Best to contact MALIBAL about your problem IMO.
