What's the difference between the Malibal p150hm and the p150hm-s1 versions?

I do not see any options in p150hm-s1 tha you cannot get in the p150hm customization page.

So what's the difference? Is the "s1" just a marketing strategy?

    I had the same question.

The S1 is just a special configuration, with a little bit better pricing.

I recently go the Satori P170HM-S1 and there were some configurations that were set in that couldn't be downgraded, like 16GB ram couldn't go back to 8GB and so on.

The S1 is a bundle deal. You can get upgraded components for a lower cost than a similarly configured regular model. They're of course an option, as you can always go with the stock model :)
