So this issue has been around for a while, I had another issue with a failed GPU(and then an incorrectly installed one by Malibal.) I had mentioned absolutely no sound coming from the main speakers above the keyboard.

I've done a couple clean Windows installs, every kind of soundcard driver install, reinstall, uninstall etc. Fn+5 will basically just kill the sound(sound only comes out if the underside speakers are on.) Surround sound doesn't work, THX's surround sound options don't work. Windows detects that there are speakers attached, but any tests I run result in mere silence.

I tolerated it a long time simply because I still had some sound, the headphone jack still worked, and Malibal's iffy performance fixing it(I don't want to send my laptop away for a couple weeks again with problems persisting.)

I just tried to use the microphone jack, and it doesn't work at all. So yeah I've hit my limit.

    Help!

TL;DR Top speakers not working at all, underside speakers are the only ones working. If I can avoid sending my laptop to Malibal that'd be ideal.

    Thanks for any help!

If your jacks are working it's the speakers themselves that are the issue, you could double check they are plugged in correctly, if they are then they need replacing.

If your speakers are really broken, I suggest having another company look at it for replacing things. Because... yeah. Not Malibal.

You can source parts from Sager themselves.
