    Matte 1900x1200 screen/heat issues on NP8662?

    Does anyone here have the NP8662 with the matte screen? How is it for MKVs?

    Also, how bad does it heat up on the bottom and on the palm rest? I plan to have this on my legs a lot.

    Never use your laptop on your lap. Especially not a gaming laptop. Buy some some sort of pad to use in between. That helps a bit.

    MKV's (especially in 1080P) look great.

    I mainly use my M860ETU on my lap, it does get warm on the bottom, but never hot.

    Make sure you dont block the vents.
