Matte screens for 9262

I cant find any matte sreens for this latop. Will they be making matte screens for this laptop? Or do I have to wait for the next laptop to replace the 9262 to have the matte screen options?

 

So far as I know, the matte screen is no longer available for the NP9262; whether or not it'll be available for the successor model remains to be seen, although if it's no longer offered for the NP9262 because of a lack of interest on the part of most buyers, then it's unlikely to be re-offered on the successor model.

 

I dont like the glossy screens because of the glare, it reflects light too much. Is there a way to reduce or get rid of the glare?

 

We have been staring at "glossy" screens ever since the first black and white TV was made. If there is a glare, change the angle of the screen or turn off the light. Too easy.

There are, I believe, screen protectors/sleeves you can get that will in effect "convert" a glossy screen to a matte surface.

 

Where can I find one of those? What stores or stores online sell them? Do they really work to stop the glare?

 

There's a screen protector with anti-glare properties offered by Protect Computer Products. There's also the Vikuiti™ ARMR-200 from 3M Corp.

 

if you wanted to replace it yourself you can get a matte screen for it.. if you need help lmk

imo do it yourself its easy. buy a screen off the net and replace it. i can match the model numbers for you. if you want..

 

Can you buy it from ebay? Yea, give the model numbers for 9262 lcd screens. Also, can you give the documentation for installing the screens?

 

not sure for the matte versions. but i know a lot of places to get them from. i will check my book tomm to see which is a matte version for you. i believe the matte one will be a sharp display. i will know tomm for you for sure

I read the service manual but it doesnt tell you how to take out the lcd screen or how to put it back on the laptop.
